A history-making label. Mille e una Notte, a fine red
The illustration Donnafugata chose for its
Mille e una Notte is an interpretation designed by
Gabriella Anca Rallo. Standing out from a midnight blue background is an ancient palace, classic in style but downplayed by
"pop art" touches of color and an ultra-modern Alice blue palm tree. The building is
Palazzo Filangeri di Cutò which in
"The Leopard" is called the "Donnafugata palazzo" and is one of its key sites.
On this label, with refinement and a light touch, Gabriella blends the magic of
The Leopard with the storytelling of
"The Thousand and One Nights" where each image cites others in the most improbable and unexpected interplays.
And so under a starlit night full of promise begins a new organoleptic tale: that of
Mille e una Notte, Donnafugata's superlative red.
