    The annual return of Italy's top wine show. Donnafugata will be there in grand style with its own stand in the Sicilian wine Hall. All its wine will be available for tasting.

    Donnafugata will partecipate with its Ben Ryè 2009, Passito di Pantelleria DOP, to event OperaWine "Finest Italian Wines: 100 Great Producers" organized together with Wine Spectator  and Vinitaly.

    OperaWine"  is an innovative project, designed to cultivate knowledge on the excellence and diversity of the finest Italian wines and simultaneously give wine lovers the chance to experience unique, historical and cultural sites within the Italian peninsula.

    For its premier event: "Finest Italian Wines: 100 GreatProducers" OperaWine has partnered with the famous and influential magazine Wine Spectator, which for the first time ever has made a selection of the finest wines produced in one single country starting from the Italian peninsula and the excellence of its wines.

    Opening Hours:

    a) From 15.30 to 17.30, the event will host Top players, invited both by the participating companies, both by Wine Spectator VeronaFiere/Vinitaly.
    b) From 18.00 to 20.00 the event will be open to consumers of wines from around the world.

    Gastronauta organizes "Panettone Tutto l'anno" ("Panettone all around the year") , a Fuori di Taste event dedicated to Italy's most famous baked goods to promote it, not only as a Christmas sweet, but rather as an Italian dessert, eaten whole 'years. Artisan producers from all over Italy will convene at Obika Mozzarella Bar, for a free event open to the public.

    Donnafugata and La Cooperativa di Giotto, The Padua prison bakery, will present during the event the new "Panettone al Kabir", Moscato di Pantelleria DOP.

    The Salon of Taste and Ideas organized by "Pitti Immagine" is an original journey dedicated to the discovery of the cultural and biological diversity of Italian food&wine.
    Spawned by an idea of Davide Paolini, Taste is, at the same time, a vast department store linked to food and wine, to a procession of tastes.  It is a place for cultural and culinary debate.

    On the occasion of the 46th edition of Vinitaly, the international exhibition of  premium wines and spirts, the Gambero Rosso will organize a big event involving the wines awarded with "Tre Bicchieri" in the Vini d'Italia 2012 guide. Donnafugata will present the Ben Ryè 2009, Passito di Pantelleria DOP.

    5-7/11/2011 MERANO (BZ) Kurhaus - Freiheitsstr. 33 Corso Libertà Merano Wine Festival, 1992-2011: the first 20 years!
    The Merano Wine Festival blows out 20 candles, one for each edition. And to celebrate this milestone it is offering an even richer program under the emblem of fine wine & food.
    Joining the 290 Italian wine producers, with their time-tested tasting booths, there will also be 150 foreign wineries, along with distillates, liqueurs and artisanal beer, to conclude with the Culinaria event, where 100 small-scale producers will be offering their gourmet delights.
    In the picturesque setting of the Kurhaus, Donnafugata - among the TOP 100 producers - will present Chiarandà 2008, Mille e una Notte 2007 and Ben Ryé 2009. And on Monday, as programmed, there will be room for some older vintages, too: the booth of the Sicilian winery will be offering samplings of Tancredi 2001, a Nero d'Avola/Cabernet Sauvignon still in splendid form.

    Among the wines rating Three Glasses in the judgement of the tasting panel led by editors Marco Sabellico, Eleanora Guerini and Gianni Fabrizio was the 2009 Ben Ryé Passito di Pantelleria from Donnafugata.
    From 3 pm to 8 pm will be held at the Gambero Rosso Città del Gusto in Naple the Tre Bicchieri 2012 tasting.
