{"id":31660,"date":"2019-07-04T09:50:43","date_gmt":"2019-07-04T09:50:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.donnafugata.it\/blog\/2019\/07\/04\/donnafugata-for-dolcegabbana\/"},"modified":"2019-07-04T09:50:43","modified_gmt":"2019-07-04T09:50:43","slug":"donnafugata-for-dolcegabbana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.donnafugata.it\/en\/blog\/donnafugata-for-dolcegabbana\/","title":{"rendered":"Donnafugata for Dolce&#038;Gabbana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dolce&amp;Gabbana returns to Sicily in July and chooses Donnafugata for the events that will be held in Agrigento: an encounter between excellences of Made in Italy that take Sicily into the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>As in 2017 in Palermo, <strong>Donnafugata wines <\/strong>will be <strong>chosen <\/strong>once more<strong> by Dolc<\/strong><strong>e&amp;Gabbana<\/strong> for the celebrative moments of the events <strong>Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, Alta Gioielleria <\/strong>of 2019, that the Italian fashion house dedicates every year to its special creations.<\/p>\n<p>Two years after the big appointment that lit up the capital, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana return to celebrate <strong>Sicily<\/strong>, their inspirational muse, choosing to make a stop in <strong>Agrigento<\/strong>, with the Valley of the Temples and its territory rich in history: from <strong>Palma di Montechiaro<\/strong>, crucial for Tomasi di Lampedusa in the writing of The Leopard, to <strong>Sciacca<\/strong> with its historic center overlooking the sea.<\/p>\n<p>Dolce&amp;Gabbana blends <strong>sartorial excellence, art and culture<\/strong>, projecting Sicily into an elegant and refined dimension: the same one that Donnafugata is an expression of, to leave its international guests an unforgettable memory of the <em>island&#8217;s wines<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>4 to 7 July<\/strong>, over 400 guests and journalists will experience the emotions of an open-air catwalk in some of the most iconic places in Sicily.<\/p>\n<p>All the events will be accompanied by the best Donnafugata labels, thus celebrating <strong>an encounter between excellences of Ma<\/strong><strong>de in Italy that take Sicily into the world<\/strong>: the western one with the wines from Contessa Entellina and Pantelleria, and the eastern one with the wines from Vittoria and Etna.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur wines are the fruit of precious small productions, from unique territories and vineyards \u2013 says <strong>Antonio Rallo<\/strong> winemaker of the family winery \u2013.<strong> The attention to detail and love for<\/strong><strong> Sicily<\/strong> that we put into our work are the same that give rise to Dolce&amp;Gabbana&#8217;s extraordinary creations; for this we were very happy about the invitation and to be with them again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Dolce&amp;Gabbana \u2013 explains <strong>Jos\u00e9 Rallo<\/strong>, head of communication of Donnafugata \u2013 we share a sunny vision of Sicily, where the colors, themes of nature and our culture, are reproposed and evoked in an ever new key: it is <strong>the f<\/strong><strong>antastic and feminine imagery<\/strong> that is present on <strong>our artistic labels<\/strong>, unique works capable of making the personality of each wine shine, in dialogue with art.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Donnafugata wines in tasting will suggest the <strong>mosaic of a Sicilian viticulture rich in diversity and style<\/strong>: from the Grillo <a href=\"http:\/\/donna-fugata-old.ssnt.xdev\/en\/wines\/sursur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SurSur<\/strong><\/a> to the Chardonnay <a href=\"http:\/\/donna-fugata-old.ssnt.xdev\/en\/wines\/chiaranda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Chiarand\u00e0<\/strong> <\/a>from Contessa Entellina, from the Nerello Mascalese from Etna, <a href=\"http:\/\/donna-fugata-old.ssnt.xdev\/en\/wines\/sul-vulcano-etna-rosso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sul Vulcano<\/strong><\/a>, to the Cerasuolo di Vittoria <a href=\"http:\/\/donna-fugata-old.ssnt.xdev\/en\/wines\/floramundi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Floramundi<\/strong><\/a>, and the Zibibbo that <a href=\"http:\/\/donna-fugata-old.ssnt.xdev\/en\/wines\/ben-rye\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ben Ry\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> Passito di Pantelleria is produced from.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dolce&#038;Gabbana returns to Sicily in July and chooses Donnafugata for the events that will be held in Agrigento: an encounter between excellences of Made in Italy that take Sicily into the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0new<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":27759,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[2108],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.10 -
