For Donnafugata, it is the most anticipated event of the year, when the estate prepares for the <strong>Night Harvest<\/strong> and opens to the public on the <strong>night of San Lorenzo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHEN: Friday 10th August 2018, from 9 pm to 1 am<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROGRAMME<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Guided tour<\/strong>: moonlit tour of the vineyards followed by a tour of the vinification cellar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wine and artistic performances in the vineyard<\/strong>: multisensory tasting of La Fuga wine, produced from grapes harvested at night, accompanied by an artistic performance by <strong>Quiet Ensemble<\/strong>. These multimedia artists are masters in unveiling the less obvious aspects of a natural show through the use of technology and will perform in a theatre of sound, light and images set amidst the rows of vines, transforming the whole vineyard into a musical instrument. With Invisibili Orchestre \/ Vendemmia Notturna, Quiet Ensemble will reveal to the public the microscopic wonders of the Night Harvest, normally invisible and inaudible to the human senses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wine<\/strong>: tasting of all of the wines produced by the company as well as a selection of historic vintages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/visit.donnafugata.it\/en-us\/Payment?evento=STELLE|2018\"><strong>Buy here the ticket<\/strong><\/a>: \u20ac 25 + \u20ac 5 (glass deposit).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tel. +39 0923 724263<\/strong>.<br \/>\nNote: bookings are only valid when confirmed by Donnafugata.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes<\/strong>:<br \/>\na) online presales subject to availability;<br \/>\nb) to attend the event, tickets must be booked or purchased online;<br \/>\nc) the deposit will be refunded at the exit on return of the glass;<br \/>\nd) tickets are free for under 16s.<\/p>\n<p>The Donnafugata estate is located at the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/sTbiYygPJv22\">60 km mark of the S.S. 624 Palermo-Sciacca state highway. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Coming from Palermo<\/strong>, you will see the winery first on your left, then a little further on you will see an overpass ramp on your right, which is the entrance to the estate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coming from Menfi-Sciacca<\/strong>, you will see the winery on your right; at that point, continue for just over 1 km and at the Contrada Cavallaro roundabout, go back on yourself, taking the exit for Sciacca so that you can take a right turn onto the overpass ramp, which is the entrance to the estate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coming from Mazara del Vallo<\/strong>, take the A29 motorway in the direction of Palermo. After 20 km, take the Castelvetrano exit and proceed towards Menfi-Sciacca, then after about 25 km, take the exit for Menfi. Follow the signs, initially for Sambuca di Sicilia, then for the S.S. 624 Palermo-Sciacca state highway. At the Misilbesi junction, take the S.S. 624 highway in the direction of Palermo and continue for 12 km until you reach the 60 km mark. You will see the winery on your right. At that point, continue for just over 1 km and at the Contrada Cavallaro roundabout, go back on yourself, taking the exit for Sciacca so that you can take a right turn onto the overpass ramp, which is the entrance to the estate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Donnafugata\u2019s estate is located in the Contessa Entellina area, but do not follow the signs for Contessa Entellina on the S.S. 624. Remain on the state highway until you reach the 60 km mark (see the kilometre tables).<\/li>\n<li>Clothing: this event is held in the countryside, so casual clothing is recommended and above all closed and comfortable footwear.<\/li>\n<li>Eat beforehand: we recommend you eat before coming to Donnafugata as our tasting includes wines, many wines, but no food. In addition, there are no bars or catering outlets close to the estate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wine may be purchased during the event or ordered for home delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Parking is limited at the Donnafugata estate. Further parking will be available at another car park close to the Contrada Cavallaro junction (between the 58 and 59 km mark of the S.S. 624).
