On\u00a0August 10th<\/strong>, on the night of San Lorenzo, Donnafugata will open the doors of the Estate of\u00a0Vittoria<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Acate<\/strong>\u00a0(RG) for the first time with an exclusive event, reserved for a\u00a0limited number<\/strong>\u00a0of people. A full immersion in the nature of eastern Sicily, in the name of elegance and safety.<\/p>\n

Calici di Stelle<\/em>\u00a0is the summer event that people most eagerly await, an event organized by the National Tourism Movement of wine, in which Donnafugata has been participating for over 20 years, celebrating the dialogue between\u00a0Art and Wine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The program of the event includes a visit to the\u00a0vineyards<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0winemaking cellar<\/strong>\u00a0and continues with a special wine\u00a0tasting<\/strong>\u00a0paired with a gourmet menu.<\/p>\n

The evening is completed with testimony in memory of\u00a0Carla Fracci<\/strong>\u00a0and a\u00a0classical ballet<\/strong>\u00a0performance<\/strong>\u00a0in the moonlight with exceptional guests and artists, to celebrate the artist who has represented Italy in the world, and who worked hard for transmitting the universal values of\u00a0commitment<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0dedication<\/strong>\u00a0to the new generations of dancers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Wines of the Evening: Antonio Rallo’s Special Selection<\/u><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Antonio Rallo \u2013 the winemaker of the family business – has selected some of Donnafugata’s most prestigious labels, including the\u00a0historic vintages<\/strong>, now out of production, of\u00a0Chiarand\u00e0 2010<\/strong>, a long-lived and extraordinarily rich Chardonnay, and two Donnafugata icons, the\u00a0Mille e una Notte 2009<\/em><\/strong>, an Italian excellence, and the\u00a0Ben Ry\u00e9 Passito di Pantelleria 2009<\/em><\/strong>, a sweet wine among the most esteemed in the world.<\/p>\n

Great attention will be paid to the expertly-studied combinations for the event between Donnafugata wines and the refined cuisine of\u00a0Villa San Bartolo Resort<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n

A tribute to Carla Fracci: a performance in celebration of the artist who has represented Italy in the world<\/u><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Dancing at\u00a0Calici di Stelle<\/em>\u00a0is back, and in grand style, with an exclusive event that pays\u00a0tribute to<\/strong>\u00a0Carla Fracci<\/strong>, the recently deceased great\u00a0\u00e9toile<\/em>\u00a0of La Scala, who in 2017 was a guest of Donnafugata on the occasion of the release of\u00a0Floramundi, Cerasuolo of Vittoria Docg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the evening, it will be possible to enjoy a\u00a0classical ballet performance<\/strong>\u00a0with a repertoire that made\u00a0Carla Fracci<\/strong>\u00a0famous:\u00a0Rebecca Bianchi<\/strong>,\u00a0prima ballerina<\/em>\u00a0of the Opera Theater in Rome<\/em>, selected by Carla Fracci in 2009 when she was the director of the theater of the Capital, will perform with\u00a0Michele Satriano<\/strong>; the dancers of\u00a0Teatro Massimo<\/em>\u00a0in Palermo\u00a0Diego Mulone<\/strong>,\u00a0Martina Pasinotti\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Elisabetta Di Chiara\u00a0<\/strong>will also perform.<\/strong><\/p>\n
