At the Historic Cellars of Marsala, Donnafugata has created a new permanent space dedicated to one of the most distinctive elements of its identity: the designer labels created by Stefano Vitale.
The Art Gallery is conceived as an immersive journey celebrating the dialogue between wine and art, guiding visitors through the images that have expressed the spirit of Donnafugata wines for more than thirty years. More than labels, they are works capable of transforming aromas, landscapes and impressions into figures, symbols and visions.
The origins of an iconic visual language
The story began in 1994, with the meeting of Gabriella Anca Rallo’s sensitivity and Stefano Vitale’s imagination. From this creative partnership emerged female figures suspended between dream and reality, contemporary archetypes that would transform the visual language of wine. Over time, these illustrations became a defining feature of Donnafugata, helping to create a narrative that brings together culture, territory and identity.
