Whistleblowing
In accordance with Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, with a view to combating behaviour or events that may constitute a breach of laws or regulations (national or European) and to safeguarding the public interest and the integrity of the organisation itself, Donnafugata S.r.l. Società Agricola has set up a portal for reporting unlawful conduct which can be accessed at: https://donnafugata.segnalazioni.eu
THE PORTAL
The portal allows the whistleblower to make their report anonymously or provide his or her personal details, guaranteeing the anonymity of the whistleblower, the person involved and anyone mentioned in the report, as well as the content of the report. To prevent the possible identification of whistleblowers who wish to remain anonymous, the service does not keep any tracking logs. For instructions on how to use it, the video tutorial can be accessed on the following page: https://www.opendotcom.it/whistleblowing/video/spot-whistleblowing/17617
REPORTS
When a report is filed, the service will issue the whistleblower with a unique 16-digit identification code (report receipt) which will be required to subsequently access the report and interact with the SUPERVISOR if necessary. Reports must be made in good faith and contain as much detailed and accurate information as possible to facilitate investigations; they are handled by a specially trained SUPERVISOR and processed with the utmost discretion and confidentiality to protect the whistleblower from any risk of retaliation or reprisal. The whistleblower will receive an acknowledgement of receipt via the portal within 7 days of filing the report.
Further information will be provided within a maximum of 3 months, again via the portal, until the investigation into the reported incident has been completed.
PROTECTION AND LIABILITY OF THE WHISTLEBLOWER
No retaliation or discrimination, whether direct or indirect, may be taken against anyone who has made a report in good faith. In accordance with the legislation, penalties are imposed on anyone who breaches the measures designed to protect whistleblowers. In the event of reports made with fraudulent intention or gross negligence, or which prove to be false, unfounded, defamatory in content, or otherwise made for the sole purpose of causing harm to the Company, the party subject to the report or any other parties affected by the report, the organisation may take appropriate action, including legal action.
PRIVACY
All reports are treated in the strictest confidence. Any personal data contained in the report will be processed in accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data and the GDPR Policy adopted by the organisation.
