Preparations are complete in Rome for I Migliori Vini Italiani, the annual show which presents the guide to the best labels curated by authoritative Italian wine critic Luca Maroni.
From Friday 16 to Sunday 18 February a series of workshops, meetings, presentations and tastings in the spaces of the prestigious Salone delle Fontane in the EUR district will familiarise visitors to Italy’s finest wines and food products.
The stand-out Italian wines will also include Ben Ryé 2021 by Donnafugata, an iconic Pantelleria DOC passito which, with a score of 99/100, will be presented with the award for best sweet Italian wine on Thursday 15 February during the opening evening of the event, dedicated to the press, the catering industry and sommeliers.
Counting almost 50 publications and thousands of reviews, I Migliori Vini Italiani is a genuine library of wine heritage which, from glass to glass, as Maroni himself describes, gives voice to the nature, technique, creativity, beauty, diversity, art, passion and dedication encapsulated in quality Italian wine.
