On 19 and 20 October Donnafugata will be in Basel, Switzerland, for an Autumn wine tasting, an event created by Vini d’Amato.
The tasting will start at 4 pm and will take place on the first floor of the restaurant “Zur Mägd“, a historic and elegant structure near the Rhine in the heart of Grossbasel.
There will be around 50 wineries taking part and they will bring various labels, so Donnafugata chose nine labels to tell you more about their philosophy.
The wines selected are:
Sur Sur 2022, Grillo Sicilia DOC Grillo;
Lighea 2022, Zibibbo Sicilia DOC;
Vigna di Gabri 2021, Sicilia DOC Ansonica;
Angheli 2019, Sicilia DOC Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon;
Contrada Marchesa 2019, Etna Rosso DOC Nerello Mascalese;
Tancredi 2019, Terre Siciliane IGP
Mille e una Notte 2019, Terre Siciliane IGP
Ben Rye 2021, Moscato Passito di Pantelleria DOP
A public dinner will also be held on Friday 20 October ‘at the table with the producers‘!
