Donnafugata is a family-run winery representative of an innovative and sustainable Sicily.
Sicily is a wine-growing continent with extraordinary potential and richness in biodiversity. Donnafugata wants to “recount” this diversity by cultivating vineyards from East to West in very different contexts aiming at the best combination of terroir and grapes: from mountain viticulture on Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, to Vittoria between the Hyblean plateau and the sea, to the hilly inland of Contessa Entellina, to terraced vineyards just above the sea on Pantelleria island between Sicily and Africa, aiming for the best combination of terroir and vines.
Donnafugata is wine craftsmanship. We focus our attention on small productions of value from unique territories and vineyards. We produce wines with a unique style, pleasant and elegant, able to delight those who taste them.
