From 6 to 10 July, the Dolce & Gabbana High Fashion, High Tailoring and High Jewellery Collections were presented in Palermo. For the four days of presentations, Dolce & Gabbana chose the prestigious wines of Donnafugata, the Sicilian winery with 5 generations of experience in quality wine.
Also this year, Dolce & Gabbana chose a city in the south to present its new creations dedicated to Alte Artigianalità(High Craftsmanship). After the charming experience in the alleys of Spaccanapoli, that were the setting for the events organized last year, the streets of Palermo were the backdrop to these important appointments.

At the gala dinner at GAM, the Modern Art Gallery, Donnafugata’s white Lighea and red Sherazade were served.
At Villa Igiea, with a refined gala dinner, Vigna di Gabri, Mille e una Notte and Ben Ryé were served.
At Monreale during the dinner in the famous Cloister of the Benedictines, paired with Tancredi, Donnafugata’s elegant red.
In the extraordinary Lanza Branciforte Castle, that with its 12 centuries of history rises over the sea of Trabia, the rosé Lumera and white SurSur were served, two other labels which are the fruit of craftsmanship that – in wine and in fashion – represent the excellence of Made in Italy in the world.
