The overall attendance at such an exhibition went beyond expectations and it even reached a record in the case of Donnafugata whose stand was in fact the most visited of the show.
As a confirmation of such data, wine consumption increased if compared to the year 2008, thus exceeding the amount of 1,500 bottles for 30,000 tastings.
These results have been achieved thanks to a new layout of the stand as well as to the great commitment of Donnafugata staff (25 people) on the occasion of the most important fair of the Italian wines.
During Vinitaly, the Italian Minister for Agricultural Politics Luca Zaia visited Donnafugata stand to announce his proposal of conferring upon José Rallo the honour of Cavaliere della Repubblica for having distinguished herself supporting the italian wines of quality and promoting the territory.
