After a tour that touched on New York, Shanghai and Beijing, Donnafugata Music&Wine returns to Italy, to Milan, for a truly extraordinary occasion: the gala MiWine dinner on June 13 at the new Milan Fair complex Milano (go to the press release “MiWine in the City”).

The musical tasting guided by José Rallo, owner of Donnafugata and vocalist for the group, is a multi-sensorial experience in which the universal language of music blends with the thrill of sampling the wines proposed in accompaniment.

It’s a new way of enjoying wine, a contemporary example of the evolving Italian lifestyle and of a host of Made in Sicily sensations just waiting to be discovered. The repertory is amazing and ranges from jazz to Brazilian music. The music & wine combination arouses all the senses and every session becomes a memorably convivial experience.

And so, to the notes of a piece by Caetano Veloso, Ben Ryé Passito di Pantelleria, releases all its sweet and sensual scents, while Tancredi—a noble blend of Nero d’Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon—finds its ideal accompaniment in an intriguing ballad with an unequivocal name: “An Older Man is Like an Elegant Wine.”
